How it works
A 4-foot handle, a swivel head and a washable pad that wraps the top edge of the trim. Walk the wall and the dust comes off. $24.99 with three pads.

Press a pad around the blue head. Hook and loop strips hold it.

Set the head on the top edge of the baseboard and walk the wall.

Rinse the pad under the tap and use it again. Swap it when it stops holding dust.
Reach
One tool for the trim you bend to and the trim you stretch for.

Door casings and the trim above them, from the floor. The handle extends up to 4 feet.

Stair trim runs at a slope. The head turns on its swivel and follows it down.

Baseboards, standing up. The pad folds over the top edge, where the dust sits.
The tool
Five parts, one of them replaceable.
Blue plastic grip at the end of the handle. Hold it like a broom, with one hand or two.
Light sections screw together, reach up to 4 feet and come apart for storage.
Lets the head turn through 360° to meet a baseboard, a casing or a stair.
A blue plastic plate that bends to the profile of the trim and carries the pad.
Textured microfiber, 6.5 x 5 in. Three come in the box and each one rinses clean.
One lap of the house
Six stops along the walls. Pick one.

I like this product!
I ordered this baseboard buddy & I really like this product. As a 70 something year old, I find it difficult to bend down on my knees to clean the baseboards. This product makes it easy because you just brush it over the baseboards, no bending down on your knees. The long handle also makes it easy to reach the moldings too. You can use it wet or dry. I recommend this product.

Good Replacements
Much better price than in the box stores! I love this little gadget, and these fit as well as the pads that came with the orginal set. Would buy them again.

Not sure if really worth the $$
We’ve never cleaned our baseboards in our new home and it’s been almost a year lol they’re filthy and needed a good cleaning. I purchased a spin brush to REALLY scrub and this to wipe them clean. I do like the size of the pads and how they absorb and clean but I don’t think this is worth the $25 bucks. Maybe if it came with a bigger pack of pads. I thought it rotated a bit more freely but it doesn’t, you kinda pick an angle and lock it in. I think I’ll use this for regular wipe downs now and hopefully it’ll last.

Other ways
A cloth on your knees still cleans a baseboard best in a tight corner. Baseboard Buddy and its 4-foot handle win on the long walls, where the bending adds up.
The brand

Baseboard Buddy is a hand tool for one of the least loved jobs in a house. Baseboards sit at ankle height and catch dust, pet hair and scuffs. Cleaning them the old way means a rag, a bucket and a slow crawl around every room.
The Baseboard Buddy idea is to do that crawl on your feet. A long aluminum handle carries a flat plastic head. A thick microfiber pad wraps the head and folds over the top edge of the board. You hold the handle like a broom, set the pad on the trim and walk.
The mark has been registered in the United States since 2011, for a handled cleaning pad with a baseboard cleaning head. Many buyers know the tool from television, and the box still carries the As Seen on TV badge. The version on sale today is marked New & Improved, and its box announces new XL cleaning pads.
There are two Baseboard Buddy products on sale: the cleaning tool and a pack of 20 replacement pads. Prices start at $24.99. The Baseboard Buddy cleaning tool has the most buyer ratings: 24,806, with an average of 4.0 out of 5.
In use

Most of the work is dry. Dust and hair cling to the textured fibers, and a pad covers a lot of wall before it fills up. For scuffs and kitchen film, the brand says to dampen the pad lightly with water or a household cleaner. Lightly matters: buyers report that a soaked pad is hard to wring and will drip.
The head is flexible, so it bends to a rounded or stepped profile. It turns on a swivel joint, which is how one tool can sit on a baseboard, lie flat on top of a door casing and follow the slope of a staircase. Some buyers find the joint loose and others find it stiff. Set the angle before you start a wall and it will hold for the run.

Baseboard Buddy is a wiping tool. It is not a scrubber. Light pressure keeps the pad on the edge of the board. Lean on it and the head can slide off, which is the most common complaint in the reviews. Caked grime in a corner still wants a cloth and a thumbnail.
The handle breaks down into sections and the whole thing fits in a broom closet. Buyers also mention that the sections can work loose as you clean. A firm twist before each room takes care of it.
Pads

Every Baseboard Buddy comes with three pads, and each one is reusable. Rinse it under the tap, squeeze it out and let it dry. The brand does not put a number on how many rounds a pad survives, and buyers disagree. Some rinse a pad for weeks. Others use one per cleaning day in a large house.
When the fibers mat down and stop grabbing dust, the pad is done. Baseboard Buddy sells its own refills. The pack of 20 costs $24.99, which works out to $1.25 a pad.
Use the brand’s pads on the brand’s head. They attach with hook and loop strips, and the size has changed over the years. One buyer with an older tool found the current pads a loose fit.
